Christian Peau has established a unique design style with modern avant-garde and classical art aesthetics as a bridge. Unlike other Japanese designers, Christian Peau's style is reminiscent of Europe in the early 18th century. Drawing inspiration from traditional shoe and leather master craftsmen, Christian Peau recreated the antiquities avant-garde in a modern way. It is characterized by hand-processed leather-each shoe is handmade in Japan, dyed, painted and washed composite leather, which is nailed together to form a truly unique work.
